ETRAIN Interactive is ready to commence final stage trials of an interactive training product, specially designed to address the literacy and numeracy needs of remote indigenous workers.
WITCI (Working In The Construction Industry) Interactive will be a self-paced training resource that builds upon ETRAIN’s experience developing 3D simulation-based training programs for training participants who have low-level literacy and numeracy. The primary target audience for this resource is (ATSI) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are: (a) unemployed and training for a job in the construction industry; (b) underemployed and looking for to qualify for an apprenticeship in the construction industry; and who (c) have low-level literacy and numeracy.
The resource is scheduled for release in Q1, 2015.
